1. Promoter
Competitions are run by HoloHunt (Kieran Bourne), Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@holohunt.win.
2. Eligibility
Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. Our employees and anyone professionally connected with a competition may not enter. We may require proof of age and address before releasing a prize and may disqualify entries that breach these terms.
3. How to enter — paid
Answer the skill question correctly, select one or more numbered tickets (sleeves) for the competition, confirm your eligibility and complete payment. Each competition has a fixed number of tickets at a stated price.
4. How to enter — free (no purchase necessary)
No purchase is necessary. To enter for free, send a postcard with your full name, address, email, date of birth and the competition name to the promoter address above. One free entry per person per competition. Free entries are entered into the same draw and have the same chance of winning as paid entries.
5. Skill requirement
Entry to each competition requires correctly answering a genuine question of skill or knowledge. This is a prize competition based on skill and a free entry route, and is not a lottery.
6. Ticket allocation & draw method
Tickets are numbered. Before a competition opens we publish a commitment (a SHA-256 hash of a secret). When all tickets are allocated we publish the secret and run a provably-fair draw: the ticket order is a deterministic shuffle seeded from the secret, which anyone can reproduce on our verify page. The draw takes place once the competition sells out.
7. Instant wins & main prize
A stated number of tickets are instant winners, fixed at commit time and revealed when the competition sells out. The remaining draw determines the main prize winner. Prize values shown are indicative market estimates and may vary.
8. Fulfilment — collection or post
Winners may collect in person in Stoke-on-Trent by arrangement, or have the prize sent by tracked, insured postage within the UK. Prizes are as described; we do not offer a cash alternative unless stated.
9. Refunds
Entries are generally non-refundable once purchased. If we cancel a competition before it draws, all paid entries for that competition will be refunded in full.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our liability is limited to the amount you paid to enter the relevant competition. We are not responsible for entries lost, delayed or corrupted in transit.
11. Data protection
We handle your personal data in line with our privacy policy and UK GDPR. We use it to run competitions, verify eligibility, take payment and deliver prizes.
12. Cancellation
We may cancel or amend a competition where necessary for reasons beyond our reasonable control or where required by law. Where a competition is cancelled, paid entrants will be refunded as set out above.
